A Renovation on Israel Education
Israel education needs a transformation. Especially in recent days, we have come to understand how imperative it is to have clear, factual, and precise education on Israel and the greater Middle East that can be updated promptly with the changing times, not merely struggle to keep up. Jerusalem Education Institute (JEI) is filling in those gaps by revamping educational experiences for students, peers, colleagues, and the general public about Israel.
JEI’s mission is to address the problem of the ever-changing information coming out of the Middle East. We aim to educate Jews and Zionists about Israel – properly – and go beyond surface-level understanding.
Israel education should be a conversation, cultivating a space for critical thinking and asking questions. We are committed to encouraging individuals to develop what Zionism means to them and what it will look like throughout their lives.
Outside of the Jewish world, Israel education lacks accurate information and important details that are essential to understanding rifts in the region. We look to provide a variety of resources from presentations to curriculums to consultations to better prepare educators, students, and the community at large with the most accurate and current information.
